Security Forces Uncover Massive Explosive Cache in Chhattisgarh Forest

Security personnel, including the District Reserve Guard, Bastar Fighters, and CoBRA, recovered a large cache of explosives and Maoist documents from Kangaltong forest in Chhattisgarh's Sukma district during an anti-Naxalite operation.

Security forces have made a significant breakthrough by recovering a massive cache of explosives from a Maoist dump in the dense forests of Chhattisgarh's Sukma district, police officials announced on Friday.

The operation was carried out jointly by the District Reserve Guard, Bastar Fighters, and the Central Reserve Police Force's elite Commando Battalion for Resolute Action (CoBRA). According to an official statement, the seizure occurred during an intense anti-Naxalite operation in the Kangaltong forest on Thursday.

The trove of recovered items includes barrel grenade launcher cells, rifle cartridges, muzzle loading barrels, wooden spikes, Maoist documents, and sniper jackets, signifying a significant blow to Maoist activities in the region.
