Controversy Brews Over Dr Pradeep Kumar Joshi's Role in Chhattisgarh Reforms Panel

Former Chhattisgarh CM Bhupesh Baghel has demanded the removal of Dr Pradeep Kumar Joshi from the state's CGPSC reforms panel due to allegations of irregularities in NEET and UGC-NET exams. Baghel accuses the BJP-led centre of mishandling exam processes, calling for transparent examinations aligned with UPSC standards.

Former Chhattisgarh chief minister Bhupesh Baghel called for the removal of Dr Pradeep Kumar Joshi, head of the National Testing Agency (NTA), from a state government panel on Thursday.

The panel, established to recommend reforms for the Chhattisgarh Public Civil Service Commission (CGPSC), has come under scrutiny due to recent exam irregularities.

Baghel's demand follows the cancellation of the UGC-NET exam and allegations of a NEET exam scam. He argued that the involvement of Dr Joshi, a former UPSC Chairman, raises concerns over the credibility and transparency of the exams conducted by CGPSC.
