The girl, who was a minor at the time of the incidents and is now 18, reported the crime at Safdarjung Hospital on June 22, where she was admitted for the termination of a four-month pregnancy.
According to the police, the victim alleged that she had been coerced into physical relations by the man from January 2023 to January 2024. Following counselling by the Delhi Commission for Women and the investigating officer, the girl revealed the name of the accused. Further investigation is ongoing, and teams have been formed to apprehend the suspect.
