Telangana Deputy CM Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka assured a tribal woman of medical treatment and other assistance after she was tortured in Nagarkurnool district. The government promises to take care of her needs, including housing, education, and land. Four accused have been arrested.

Telangana Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday reached out to a tribal woman who was reportedly tortured by several individuals, including her sister, in Nagarkurnool district. He pledged state support for her medical treatment and additional assistance. Vikramarka visited her at Nizam's Institute of Medical Sciences (NIMS).

Initially treated at a local hospital, the woman was moved to NIMS for better care. Expressing deep concern, Vikramarka stated that the government would oversee her treatment until full recovery.

He also promised a house under the Indiramma housing scheme, education for her children in a state-run school, and land for agriculture. Four people were arrested for the alleged assault, and further stringent action will follow.
