Additionally, he discussed evolving plans to make Coimbatore an accident-free city and improving medical insurance for government employees.

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin made significant announcements for police and fire rescue services on Saturday. Alongside plans to make Coimbatore an accident-free city with a Rs 5 crore action plan, he unveiled several new initiatives.

The CM announced the establishment of new all-women police stations at Kolathur, Kelambakkam, Sengundram, among other locations. A new building for the Tambaram Police Commissionerate, and increased ex-gratia compensation for police personnel and their families were also highlighted.

Further measures include better medical insurance for government employees, new forensic units, and enhanced rescue equipment for fire services. “Our goal is huge, and our policy vast,” Stalin stated, committing to his administration's long-term vision amidst applause from the Assembly.
