The Air India Express Employees Union has accused the airline of engaging in unfair labour practices, prompting the union to seek intervention from the Chief Labour Commissioner (Central).

Affiliated with the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, the union's alarming allegations emerged amid ongoing conciliation proceedings related to disputes between cabin crew and airline management.

The union claims that the airline's management has issued charge sheets to union members who availed sick leave, initiating inquiries selectively, and previously terminating 25 cabin crew members following a brief strike in May.
