Tragic Suicide of Mother and Daughter in Arai Village

Suman Tiwari (42) and her daughter Komal (22) allegedly committed suicide by consuming insecticide tablets on Sunday in Arai village. Despite being rushed to a hospital in Prayagraj, both succumbed. Police are investigating to determine the reasons behind the extreme step.

In a tragic incident, Suman Tiwari, aged 42, and her 22-year-old daughter Komal, allegedly ended their lives by consuming insecticide tablets on Sunday. The event took place in Arai village, police confirmed.

According to Additional Superintendent of Police Tejveer Singh, the two women ingested sulphas tablets at their home in the morning. Family members immediately took them to a nearby hospital in Prayagraj district; however, both succumbed.

Their bodies have since been returned to their village. Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances leading to this grave act, with the motive still unknown, Singh stated.
