Tragic Suspected Suicide: Teen Dies After Being Hit by Train

An 18-year-old youth died after being hit by a train engine in a suspected suicide case, the police reported. The lifeless body of Akash, a class 8 student, was discovered by passersby near the Behta-Hazipur area on Sunday. The locomotive was traveling from Shamli, Uttar Pradesh to Delhi at the time of the incident.

According to the driver’s report, the teenager died after being struck by the train engine. The ACP Ankur Vihar Bhaskar Verma stated that the police are investigating the case from all possible angles. Currently, the body has been sent for a post-mortem examination to ascertain further details.
