In a troubling development, cow vigilante Bittu Bajrangi has reported receiving threat calls as the July 22 Braj Mandal Jalabhishek Yatra approaches in Haryana's Nuh. This yatra was marred by violence last year, leading to five deaths and numerous injuries.
Authorities have lodged an FIR at the Saran police station in Faridabad based on Bajrangi’s complaint. According to the complaint, Bajrangi received a call on July 6, warning him to stay away from Nuh or face fatal consequences.
During last year's yatra, violence erupted when Bajrangi announced his participation despite warnings. This year, Bajrangi alleges the caller demanded Rs 1 lakh to ensure his safety, threatening harm if he attended the event.
