Man Arrested for Smoking E-Cigarette on IndiGo Flight

A man named Kanishksingh Rajput was caught smoking an e-cigarette on a Coimbatore-Mumbai IndiGo flight. The incident was noticed by a senior cabin crew member, and Rajput was consequently detained in Mumbai and taken to the Airport police station. A man named Kanishksingh Rajput has been arrested for smoking an e-cigarette on an IndiGo flight, according to Mumbai police.

The incident took place on a Coimbatore-Mumbai flight around 9 PM on July 8. Smoke was detected by a senior cabin crew member who then confronted the passenger. Rajput admitted to smoking the e-cigarette and was redirected to another seat.

Upon arrival in Mumbai, Rajput was detained and taken to the Airport police station. A case has been registered against him under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and Aircraft Rules.
