In a chilling discovery on Monday morning, the bodies of Manoj (22) and Ranjana (20) were found hanging in their house in Nagla Tarau village. Senior police officer SSP Brijesh Kumar Singh stated that, at first glance, it appeared to be a case of suicide. However, he indicated that the final determination would depend on the post-mortem report and further investigation.

Manoj, who worked as a tile stone installer, married Ranjana in May of last year. Ranjana's family claims the couple was murdered, pointing out that their feet were touching the ground—a detail they argue is inconsistent with suicide. They believe the couple was killed before being hung.

SSP Singh noted that both bodies were found hanging from the same noose, fashioned out of a saree. He also mentioned that the deceased's brother, his wife, and their children were asleep in an adjacent room at the time of the incident. Police are continuing their investigation to unravel the truth behind this tragic case.
