Addressing the media, Khedkar declined to comment on the ongoing probe, asserting that the truth will eventually prevail.

Meanwhile, the Central Government has initiated a thorough investigation through a one-member committee to examine Khedkar's candidature and the authenticity of her claims. The 34-year-old officer has been accused of manipulating her category status and misusing her position during her tenure in Pune.

In a separate development, Pune police are searching for Khedkar's parents, who are accused of threatening individuals with a licensed firearm in a land dispute. The police have registered an FIR and continue to investigate both cases.
