Kisi County staff will no longer be allowed in offices clad in miniskirts and skimpy attires. Located in the former Nyanza Province in south-western Kenya, the county has issued a circular sending a copy to the Human Resource, Protocol, Communication and the Governor's office that staff can only on Fridays wear branded departmental attires as well as dress down, as reported by Standard Digital.
Apart from prohibition on miniskirts, the women cannot wear open shoes, t-shirts and skimpy dresses at the offices. Men have not been left out in the new policy as they are not required to wear t-shirts except on Fridays when they shall be allowed to wear county branded attires, Tuko noted.
"All public officers are required to be well groomed and decently dressed to maintain an appropriate standard of dress and personal hygiene in public and private," the policy stated.
