Russia and Ukraine have exchanged 95 prisoners of war from each side, facilitated by the humanitarian mediation of the United Arab Emirates, the Russian Defence Ministry announced on Wednesday.
The Ministry stated on the Telegram messaging app that the Russian soldiers who were returned would undergo medical examinations once they arrive in Moscow.
The Ministry also acknowledged and thanked the UAE for its significant role in this humanitarian mediation.
