Opposition Congress MLAs caused a commotion in the Rajasthan assembly on Thursday, raising slogans over a severe power crisis plaguing the state. They accused the BJP government of neglect.
Congress MLA from Bundi, Harimohan Sharma, highlighted the issue during Zero Hour, criticizing the government for its lack of vision and systemic inefficiencies. According to Sharma, the entire state is troubled, with peaceful protesters facing false charges.
Minister of State for Energy Hiralal Nagar countered these claims, asserting that the current government operates power generation plants efficiently and at higher capacity. He blamed the previous administration for the existing problems.
Despite the opposition's dissatisfaction and continued efforts to raise the issue, the speaker insisted that the government's response must be heard, allowing the proceedings to continue amid raised slogans.
