Axis Bank Sales Manager Arrested in Connection with Employee's Suicide
Ghaziabad Police have arrested Mohammed Akram, a sales manager at Axis Bank, in connection with the suicide of Shivani Tyagi, a woman sales executive. Tyagi, reportedly harassed by colleagues and denied her resignation, consumed poison and died. Both Axis Bank and Quess Corp expressed regret over the incident.

The Ghaziabad Police on Thursday arrested Mohammed Akram, a sales manager at Axis Bank in Noida, in connection with the suicide of woman sales executive Shivani Tyagi, officials reported.
Shivani Tyagi (27), who worked at Axis Bank's regional office in Noida and resided in Ghaziabad, consumed poison and died on July 12, as per her family.
According to her brother's FIR, Tyagi was physically and mentally harassed by some colleagues and staff, an allegation supported by her purported suicide note. Axis Bank clarified that Tyagi worked for Quess Corp, a third-party company hired by them. Quess Corp expressed deep regret over the tragic incident and confirmed their cooperation with authorities during the investigation. Axis Bank and Quess Corp both conveyed their condolences and regret over the incident.
