Senior IAS Officer P Amudha to Lead CM Stalin's Grievance Redressal Initiatives
Senior IAS officer P Amudha has been appointed to head 'Mudhalvarin Mugavari', an initiative of Chief Minister M K Stalin aimed at swift redressal of public grievances. Previously the Home Secretary, Amudha is now the Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department and will hold additional responsibilities, including overseeing other public grievance schemes.

Senior IAS officer P Amudha has been appointed to lead 'Mudhalvarin Mugavari', a key initiative by Chief Minister M K Stalin to ensure the swift redressal of public grievances. A Government Order issued on July 19 confirms that Amudha, previously serving as the Home Secretary, will now serve as the Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.
The order, signed by Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena, states that Amudha will also function as the Special Officer for 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' and other public grievance redressal schemes. Amudha replaces D Mohan, who has been transferred to another position.
On July 11, 2024, CM Stalin extended the 'Makkaludan Mudhalvar' scheme's reach to rural areas. The 'Mudhalvarin Mugavari' initiative, an integrated public grievance CM helpline management system, was launched to improve public service delivery and governance.
