The incident, which involved stone pelting, unfolded at 7 PM on Thursday when the procession made its way from Gujri Chowk to the Garib Shah Baba dargah in Sakharkheda village, heightening tensions in the area.

Authorities have registered a case against 34 individuals for property damage and various offenses connected to the unrest. Superintendent of Police Sunil Kadasne reassured residents that the situation is now under control and mentioned his inspection of the troubled area. Additionally, Union Minister Prataprao Jadhav and Buldhana MP, along with Sindkhedraja MLA Rajendra Shingne, visited Sakharkherda to assess the situation.
