High Court Orders Submissions in National Herald Case

The Delhi High Court has asked Subramanian Swamy and Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to file written submissions in the National Herald case within four weeks. The high court was hearing Swamy's plea to present evidence against the Gandhis and other accused in the case. Proceedings will continue on October 29.

The Delhi High Court has directed BJP MP Subramanian Swamy and Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi to submit a concise written note on their arguments in the National Herald case within four weeks.

Justice Neena Bansal Krishna stated that written submissions after this timeframe would incur a cost of Rs 15,000. The court scheduled further arguments for October 29.

Swamy seeks to present evidence in the trial court against the Gandhis and others, accused in the case of economic malfeasance involving Young Indian Private Limited.
