China's Vice Premier Ding Xuexiang has emphasized the need for continuous improvement in the effectiveness of bilateral investment cooperation with Russia, Chinese state media reported on Tuesday.

During discussions with Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov, Ding pledged to offer guidance for the deepening and practical development of China-Russia investment ties, according to Xinhua news.

The remarks were made during a session of the Sino-Russian Investment Cooperation Committee held in Moscow.
