Haryana Government Strives to Revolutionize Police Force

Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini reaffirmed on Wednesday that the government is steadfast in its mission to transform Haryana Police into the country's leading force.
Saini highlighted the challenging nature of police work, commending the Haryana Police for their dedication even under adverse conditions. Addressing a gathering at the passing out parade at the Police Training College in Sunaria, Rohtak, for 1,265 newly trained jawans, Saini underscored the government's commitment to the police force's enhancement.
He rode in an open jeep to inspect the parade contingents and took the salute of the march past. He congratulated the new recruits, noting that their inclusion would bolster the police force's strength and urged them to work diligently to improve efficiency.
Saini emphasized that 765 jawans received their training from the Sunaria Police Academy and another 500 from the Haryana Police Academy in Madhuban. He highlighted that 601 of these recruits are national and international level sports players, aiming to improve sports in the Haryana Police.
Other key initiatives mentioned included the establishment of the Inter-state Drugs Secretariat, Haryana State Narcotics Control Bureau, Haryana State Cyber Crime Coordination Centre, and district-level cyber police stations. Saini also noted the effectiveness of the 'Dial 112' emergency helpline, which has received 30 lakh calls with a 93% satisfaction rate.
Director General of Police (DGP) Shatrujeet Kapoor added that a special task force has been formed to tackle serious crimes and that 33 women police stations have been established across the state.
