Jaishankar Strengthens Diplomatic Ties at ASEAN Meetings

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar met with multiple global leaders during the ASEAN meetings in Laos. Key discussions included bilateral ties, regional and global issues with counterparts from Turkiye, Russia, EU, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Brunei. In discussions with Turkiye's Hakan Fidan, bilateral and regional issues were addressed. Jaishankar's itinerary included meetings with leaders from Russia, the EU, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, New Zealand, and Brunei, emphasizing bilateral and strategic collaborations.

Significant topics included trade, regional security, energy transitions, and new cooperations in the Indo-Pacific region. Each meeting aimed to fortify India's global diplomatic and economic relationships.
