Kerala CM Mourns Tragic Delhi Flooding Incident at Coaching Centre
Kerala's Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan expressed condolences over the death of three students, including Ernakulam native Nevin Delvin, following the flooding of a coaching centre in New Delhi. The police have arrested the owner and coordinator of the centre, booking them for culpable homicide and other charges.

Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Sunday expressed his heartfelt condolences over the tragic death of three students, who lost their lives due to the flooding of a basement coaching centre in New Delhi after heavy rainfall.
Ernakulam native Nevin Delvin, a research student at JNU, was among the deceased, as confirmed by Vijayan. Delvin, 23, hailed from Neeleeswaram and was the son of former police officer Delvin Suresh and T S Linslet, former Geography department head at Kalady University.
In a swift response, police have arrested the owner and coordinator of Rau's IAS Study Circle and charged them with culpable homicide and other offences. The bodies of two female students and a male student were recovered during the rescue operation, including those of Shreya Yadav from Uttar Pradesh and Tanya Soni from Telangana.
