Army Jawan Among Three Arrested for Murder in Punjab

Three individuals, including an army jawan, have been arrested in Punjab for allegedly killing a man named Kulvir Singh. The incident involved a revenge plot hatched by one of the accused. The police recovered weapons and a motorbike used in the crime.

Three individuals, including an army jawan, were apprehended in Punjab for allegedly murdering a man, police stated on Monday.

The suspects were named as Kanish Kumar from Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, Jaswinder Singh, alias Monu, and army jawan Amandeep Singh, alias Aman, both from Daffar village, according to the police.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Surendra Lamba reported that the incident took place last Friday. Kulvir Singh and Satwinder Singh were riding towards Bajwa village when they were intercepted by three masked men on a motorbike. The attackers left both men seriously injured. Kulvir succumbed to his injuries at the hospital. Police investigation found that Satwinder had an old rivalry with Dubai-based Pinder from Kabirpur village. Kanish is said to have met Pinder in Dubai and plotted to kill Satwinder. The police recovered a motorbike and two sharp-edged weapons used in the crime from the accused.
