Massive Methamphetamine Seizure in Mizoram

Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 61.9 crore were seized by Assam Rifles in Mizoram's Champhai district. Methamphetamine tablets worth Rs 61.9 crore have been seized in Mizoram's Champhai district, according to a statement by the Assam Rifles.

Following a tip-off, Assam Rifles personnel raided Zokhawthar village near the India-Myanmar border, seizing 20.6 kg of Methamphetamine tablets on Sunday.

The seized tablets were subsequently handed over to the state police for further legal proceedings, the statement added.
