J&K Authorities Advise Caution in Forests Amid Anti-Terror Operations

Authorities in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district have advised civilians against visiting forest areas at night. This caution comes as anti-terror operations intensify. Residents are urged to avoid wearing shawls and blankets during night hours to prevent any untoward incidents, following multiple terrorist attacks in the region.

In response to heightened anti-terror operations, authorities in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district issued a nighttime advisory urging people to avoid forest areas while wearing shawls and blankets.

Additional District Magistrate Rajeev Kumar Khajuria announced the advisory, based on a request from the army which reported civilians wandering in these areas during night hours. The public notice strictly prohibits night movement in these zones without prior permission from army and police authorities to prevent any potential mishaps.

Security forces are on high alert, conducting frequent search operations in Rajouri and neighboring Poonch district to track infiltrators. Recent terror activities have resulted in significant casualties, prompting intensified security measures.
