Questions Raised in Delhi Coaching Institute Tragedy

Delhi Police are questioning the father-in-law of Rau's IAS Study Circle's owner, along with four municipal officers, following the death of three students in a flooded basement. Various arrests have been made, and further investigations are ongoing regarding the ownership and safety measures of the coaching center.

The Delhi Police on Tuesday questioned the father-in-law of the Rau's IAS Study Circle's owner. Four municipal officers were also asked to join the investigation into the deaths of three students in the flooded basement of the coaching institute.

A senior police officer stated that V P Gupta was questioned about the ownership rights of the coaching centre. The police may also call Abhishek Gupta's wife for questioning, as V P Gupta has transferred the property to his daughter and son-in-law.

The police have already arrested Abhishek Gupta and the coaching centre coordinator Deshpal Singh, along with five others. The driver of an SUV that caused the flooding was also among those arrested. Investigations into the property documents and ownership continue as police issue directives to local beat officers to prepare a list of buildings with potential waterlogging issues in the area.
