A Delhi court is expected to deliver its verdict on the anticipatory bail plea of IAS probationer Puja Khedkar on August 1. Khedkar stands accused in a case of cheating and forgery.

Additional Sessions Judge Devender Kumar Jangala reserved the order after considering arguments presented by Khedkar's lawyer, who cited an imminent threat of arrest against his client.

The prosecution and the counsel for UPSC opposed Khedkar's bail application, alleging that she has cheated the system and could potentially abuse the law due to her resourcefulness.
