A tragic road accident on the Delhi-Jaipur Highway resulted in the death of a 17-year-old kanwariya and left two others critically injured when a speeding truck rammed their motorcycle early Wednesday morning, according to police reports.
Protesters, primarily kanwariyas, blocked the highway demanding compensation and a government job for the deceased's family. The situation was defused when administrative officials assured them that their demands would be forwarded to the government.
The truck driver, identified as Kuldeep from Uttar Pradesh, fled the scene but was later apprehended. An FIR was registered at the Kherki Daula police station.
