During a visit to flood-affected areas, Siddaramaiah responded to BJP's accusations of discriminatory compensation distribution, noting previous issues of misuse and unpaid instalments.

The state is actively conducting relief operations in affected districts and preparing for more rain next week, with all relevant departments advised to remain vigilant.
