Punjab Police Ensures Security at Judicial Complexes with Massive Operation

Punjab Police conducted a large-scale cordon and search operation across all districts to ensure the safety of judicial complexes. The operation included thorough checks of suspicious persons and vehicles. Special DGP Arpit Shukla noted the focus was on enhancing security using technology like CCTV and DFMDs.

Punjab Police initiated a state-wide cordon and search operation on Monday to secure judicial complexes in all districts. The operation spanned from 11 am to 2 pm, targeting suspicious persons and vehicles around sub-divisional courts.

Special Director General of Police Arpit Shukla highlighted that the police utilized the Vahan app for vehicle checks and ensured that security equipment, such as DFMDs and CCTV cameras at judicial premises, were operational.

As a result of the sweep, 1,421 individuals were frisked, 1,850 vehicles were inspected, leading to 62 traffic citations and one impoundment. Shukla emphasized that the initiative aimed to provide comprehensive security at these crucial locations.
