Nine UN Staff Suspected of Involvement in Hamas Attack

Nine staff members of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees may have been involved in the Oct. 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel, the UN revealed on Monday. Their employment will be terminated.

'For nine people, the evidence was sufficient to conclude that they may have been involved in the seventh of October attacks,' stated Deputy spokesperson Farhan Haq.

The investigation centers on their alleged participation in the deadly assault, which has intensified scrutiny of UN operations in conflict zones.
