Ukraine's Air Force Successfully Intercepts 29 Russian Drones

Ukraine's air force announced on Thursday the successful interception of 29 Russia-launched drones during an overnight assault spanning eight regions. Officials reported only minor damage.

In addition to the drones, Russia launched three Kh-59 guided missiles, according to the air force's statement. The governor of Cherkasy region stated that debris caused window damage to a private business, while authorities in Kyiv, Poltava, and Kirovohrad confirmed no infrastructure damage or casualties.

The southern Mykolaiv region's governor said five drones were downed with no details provided on damage. Kherson's governor reported the interception of eight more drones, but various attacks in the region resulted in one fatality and injured 13 others.
