Chhattisgarh Govt's Aggressive Push Against Naxalites

The Chhattisgarh government, led by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, is intensifying efforts to establish security camps in Naxalite-affected areas. The state has seen significant progress in neutralizing Naxalite threats and promoting development via new policies. Key initiatives include an industrial policy, Chhattisgarh Economic Advisory Council, and a scheme to promote traditional sports.

In a determined effort to combat Naxalite activities, the Chhattisgarh government, spearheaded by Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, has established numerous new security camps in affected areas. This initiative aims to eliminate the Naxalite menace and provide essential facilities to local residents.

Over the past eight months, security forces have successfully neutralized 146 Naxalites, instilling a sense of safety in the region. Addressing the state during Independence Day, CM Sai reiterated the government's commitment to further development, announcing an ambitious industrial policy to generate employment for the youth and accelerate economic growth.

The government has also constituted the State Investigation Agency for effective handling of Naxalite-related incidents. Efforts under the 'Niyad Nellanar' scheme aim to extend benefits of various government schemes to villages near these security camps. In addition, initiatives like the Chhattisgarh Economic Advisory Council and a new sports promotion scheme further highlight the state's focus on comprehensive development.
