Gynaecologist Duped of Rs 7 Lakh by Fraudsters

They coerced her through voice and video calls to transfer the money before she realized the scam and contacted the police.

The accused contacted her between 8:30am and 12:15pm on Wednesday, coercing her to transfer Rs 7 lakh into two bank accounts. They communicated via voice and video calls, presenting false allegations.

After transferring the money, the gynaecologist realized she was scammed and approached the police. An investigation is ongoing, but no arrests have been made so far.
