Nigerian Woman Arrested for Smuggling Mescaline Worth Rs 15 Crore
A Nigerian woman, Faith Racheal, was apprehended for smuggling 3.87 kilograms of Mescaline valued at Rs 15 crore. Mescaline, a psychedelic substance, was hidden in branded toffees and fish food packing. Racheal, residing in Mehrauli, has been linked to a narcotics cartel operating in India.

A Nigerian woman was arrested for allegedly smuggling 3.87 kilograms of Mescaline, a substance valued around Rs 15 crore in the international market, authorities announced on Thursday.
Known for its hallucinogenic effects, Mescaline was hidden in branded toffees and fish food packaging. The accused, identified as Faith Racheal, was apprehended on August 14 from the Mehrauli area.
Officials confirmed that Racheal had entered India on a medical visa in August 2022. Upon the visa's expiration, she did not return to Nigeria and became involved in a narcotics cartel, smuggling drugs from one conduit to another.
