Murder Suspect Arrested in Delhi After Months on the Run

A 38-year-old man, wanted in connection with a murder case in Mumbai, has been apprehended in central Delhi's Kamla Market near the city's red light area, the police said on Friday.
The suspect, identified as Bipul Sikari and hailing from West Bengal, was caught following a tip-off on Wednesday that he would be seen in the GB Road locality.
Police officers set up a trap and successfully nabbed Sikari around 9.15 pm, informed Deputy Commissioner of Police (central) M Harsha Vardhan. Following his escape from Mumbai, Sikari was hiding in various parts of Delhi and neighboring states to avoid arrest. He has been handed over to Mumbai Police, who had coordinated with Wadala TT Police Station regarding his capture.
