A man was hospitalized after being shot by bouncers outside Star City Mall in East Delhi, police reported on Wednesday.
According to police, the incident unfolded late Tuesday night at Black Mirror Club in Mayur Vihar. The altercation began when three men—Shoaib alias Ajju, Faizal, and Faraz—danced on the floor and were confronted by a woman over inappropriate gestures. The club's bouncers asked the trio to leave, leading to a physical fight where Faraz and Shoaib were severely beaten. During their escape, Shoaib was shot in the waist. Both injured men were taken to LBS Hospital, where Faraz was discharged after treatment while Shoaib continues to recover.
Authorities have registered a case of attempted murder and a breach of the Arms Act, collected CCTV footage, and recorded staff statements. Investigations are ongoing to identify the gunman. Shoaib works at a meat shop, Faraz is a driver, and Faizal is a motor mechanic.
