Three Terrorists Killed in Anti-Infiltration Operations in Kupwara
Three terrorists were killed in two separate anti-infiltration operations by the Indian Army and Jammu and Kashmir Police in Kupwara district. The joint operations were launched following intelligence inputs on August 28 and 29 in Machhal and Tangdhar areas.

Three terrorists are believed to have been killed in anti-infiltration operations along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Kupwara district, the Indian Army said on Thursday.
Launched on Wednesday, the operations in Machhal and Tangdhar followed intelligence inputs, according to army officials.
In a post on X, the Srinagar-based Chinar Corps disclosed that joint operations were carried out by the Indian Army and the Jammu and Kashmir Police from the night of August 28 to 29 in Machhal, Kupwara. 'Suspicious movement in bad weather was engaged with effective firing by troops, likely neutralizing two terrorists,' the post read.
Another terrorist is believed to have been killed in a similar operation in Tangdhar. The operations were ongoing at the time of the last reports.
