Nagaland Vigilant Against Illegal Influx Amid Bangladesh Political Crisis

Nagaland Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton addressed the state Assembly on Thursday, affirming that there are no reports of illegal Bangladeshi immigrants entering following the political turmoil in Bangladesh.
Patton's response came after NPF MLA Achumbemo Kikon expressed concerns during Zero Hour about potential illegal influx through states sharing borders with Bangladesh.
Patton elaborated that Nagaland, bordered by Assam, has taken stringent measures including regular district-level security meetings and intensified vigilance at inter-state check posts to ensure robust monitoring against any singular influx.
