Israeli military forces on Saturday reported killing two individuals in the occupied West Bank in separate incidents. The first intruder attempted to infiltrate an Israeli settlement, while the second opened fire at soldiers after his vehicle exploded.

According to Israel's ambulance service, two men were wounded by gunfire during these incidents, but their identities have not been disclosed. The military said the first incident involved assailants trying to run over a security guard at the entrance to the Karmei Tzur community before infiltrating it. Soldiers at the scene shot and killed the attacker, and a search for other suspects is ongoing, the military confirmed. In a separate event, a car caught fire and exploded at a gas station, prompting forces to shoot and kill the individual who exited the vehicle and attempted an assault.

Hamas issued a statement praising what they termed a 'double heroic operation,' asserting that resistance would persist as long as Israeli 'occupation's aggression' continued. Despite escalating violence in the West Bank following the Gaza war, Hamas did not claim direct responsibility for the attacks.
