In a significant move to enhance law enforcement, police stations in the district have opened history sheets for 103 criminals. This measure aims to keep an eye on repeat offenders involved in grave offenses, officials revealed on Saturday.
These history sheets include comprehensive records of past charges, arrests, and convictions for serious crimes such as loot, murder, and illegal cattle slaughter. The action targets individuals identified as consistent lawbreakers over the past three years, Superintendent of Police (Rural) Aditya Bansal confirmed.
By maintaining these detailed history sheets, police stations can better monitor the activities of these criminals, aiding efforts to uphold law and order. A significant number of sheets were opened at Bhopa and Budhana police stations, with other stations like Shahpur, Titwai, and Miranpur following suit.
