Sibling Duo Booked for Ransacking Chemist Shop Amid Dispute

A brother-sister duo in their late 20s has been booked for allegedly ransacking a chemist shop in Kalyan city, Thane district, and attacking its owner, police reported on Monday.

Preliminary investigations suggest that an old dispute with the shop owner triggered the incident, which occurred on August 29. No arrests have been made so far.

The duo reportedly smashed glass doors, medicine bottles, and furniture. One of the accused allegedly bit the complainant’s hand when he tried to retrieve important shop documents. Police have registered a case under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita.
