A merchant vessel was hit by an unmanned aerial vehicle 50 nautical miles west of Yemen's Hodeidah, British security firm Ambrey announced on Monday.
The incident, occurring in the volatile waters near the Yemen conflict zone, raised immediate concerns about maritime security in the region.
Despite the attack, Ambrey confirmed that there were no injuries or damages reported, alleviating some concerns over the safety of the crew and the vessel.
