Elon Musk's social media platform X secured a legal victory on Wednesday, successfully appealing to partially block a new California law.
The law mandates that social media companies disclose their policies for combating disinformation, harassment, hate speech, and extremism.
A three-judge panel from the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in San Francisco overturned a prior decision from a lower court, which had declined to halt the enforcement of the law.
