Maharashtra Man Arrested for Triple Murder Over Property Dispute

A man has been arrested in Maharashtra's Raigad district for murdering his elder brother, the latter's pregnant wife, and their minor son due to a property dispute. The accused attacked the victims with an axe and attempted to cover his tracks. He eventually confessed during police interrogation.

In a shocking incident, police have arrested a man for brutally killing his 40-year-old elder brother, his brother's pregnant wife, and their minor son over a property dispute in Maharashtra's Raigad district. The incident came to light when the bodies were discovered behind their house along the riverbanks in Kalamb village, Karjat area, on Sunday.

The deceased have been identified as Madan Patil, his 35-year-old wife, and their 11-year-old son. Law enforcement revealed that the victims had been attacked with an axe resulting in fatal head injuries. The woman was reportedly seven months pregnant at the time of the attack.

Madan Patil's brother, Hanumant Patil, was apprehended on Monday following the gruesome discovery. It was revealed that after committing the murders, the accused tried to establish an alibi by sitting at a relative's Ganesh pandal overnight. However, CCTV footage exposed his lies. During a rigorous interrogation, Hanumant eventually confessed to the heinous crime, leading to his arrest under multiple charges of murder.
