Madhya Pradesh Announces New Chief Information Commissioner and Team
The Madhya Pradesh government has appointed Vijay Yadav as the new chief information commissioner. Additionally, three other information commissioners—Umashankar Pachouri, Vandana Gandhi, and Omkar Nath—have been appointed. The appointments were finalized during a committee meeting chaired by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.

The Madhya Pradesh government has named Vijay Yadav, former special director general of police, as the chief information commissioner of the state.
In addition to Yadav, three new information commissioners have been appointed: educationist Umashankar Pachouri, social worker Vandana Gandhi, and retired judge Omkar Nath, according to an official press release.
The selections were made during a meeting led by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, with contributions from Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Umang Singhar and Public Health Engineering Minister Sampatiya Uikey.
