In a significant development, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has welcomed the Supreme Court's decision to grant bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal. Mann described the ruling as a victory for truth.

The apex court granted bail to Kejriwal in connection with a corruption case filed by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) involving an alleged excise policy scam.

'Finally the truth has won,' Mann declared in a post on X. He stressed that the bail proves truth cannot be suppressed. Kejriwal had previously received interim bail in a related case filed by the Enforcement Directorate.
