Ukraine’s Air Defenses Thwart Major Drone Attack
Ukraine's air defense units successfully intercepted 71 out of 80 drones launched by Russia overnight, with an additional six drones neutralized through electronic warfare. Russia also fired two guided missiles from occupied parts of Ukraine's Luhansk region, but their fate remains unknown.
Ukraine's air defense units successfully intercepted 71 out of 80 drones launched by Russia overnight, according to Ukraine's air force.
The air force statement on the Telegram messaging app revealed that six more Russian drones were neutralized by Ukraine's electronic warfare capabilities.
Additionally, Russia fired two guided missiles from occupied territories in Ukraine's Luhansk region, though the air force did not disclose what happened to these missiles.
