A 15-year-old girl was allegedly raped by a plumber in south Delhi's Sangam Vihar area, police reported on Tuesday.
The suspect, identified as Mukesh, allegedly committed the crime on Sunday while the girl was alone at her residence. Upon learning of the incident, the family informed the police. A case has been filed under section 65 (1) (rape of a woman under 16 years of age) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.
The police have formed a team to apprehend the accused.
